Port Grimaud, City Lacustre (City of Lakes) is a fascinating and unique waterside development, the brainchild of Francois Spoerry. 

Spoerry was an architect and sailor who planned the city and began its development in the late sixties.

No two houses are identical and every home occupies a waterside position.

Throughout the summer there are Coches d'eau (water taxis) which are free to residents, that will transport you from the pontoon below the apartment to the centre of the marina, the beach, or pick-up points for the water-buses to St Tropez or St Maxime or St Raphael.

The area is very safe with security guards.

The centre of Port Grimaud is a busy market square which draws day visitors and residents alike to its cafes, restaurants, shops and twice-weekly market. You can eat, drink, stroll about or sit and watch the people.
